Why Come To Our Market?
Food ~ Music ~ Community ~ Connection

The Yarmouth Farmers Market was created to connect small business owners with consumers who want fresh, high quality,  locally grown and sourced food.

On Thursday afternoons, 317 Main street becomes a vibrant community hub where friends reconnect, children play and everyone can enjoy free live music on our porch.

317 Students Musicians Playing on the porch during the Market

The market's host, 317 Main Community Music Center, connects us with professional musicians, students and campers, who can often be found jamming on the porch.  Newcomer Tip: Come between 4-5PM to be sure to catch live music.

In addition  to nourishing bodies with healthy food, the market strives to contribute to the vitality of the community.   We welcome other Yarmouth-based non-profit organizations to join us to share information about current projects that are of interest to the Yarmouth community.   Guest non-profit groups  are  encouraged to share a fun activity that's well suited for children.

Poblano Peppers from Andrews Farm

The Yarmouth Farmers Market is also a place where neighbors can connect with local artisans who bring jewelry, pottery, artwork, textiles,  home goods and other crafts into the market mix.  These vendors  change from week to week, keeping the experience fresh for visitors.

Market regulars tell us they come to the our Market for tomatoes and fresh corn, but they stay for the experience. We hope you'll come see us, stay a while, and become a regular.

Don't forget your tote bags!
